Brief Summary
The Laboratory Efficiencies Initiative (LEI) is a program co-sponsored by APHL and CDC to maintain a sustainable public health laboratory system. The public health laboratories provide high confidence scientific evidence to drive decision-making to protect and improve the health of the public. The products developed as a result of this initiative will be shared with examples of how they can be used in other areas of the health department. Group participation will be encouraged to explore additional projects that could be conducted in partnership with the LEI and CSTE.
