Biographical Sketch:
Bakeyah Nelson, Ph.D., is a Public Health Analyst at Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services. Dr. Nelson is currently responsible for oversight of assessment activities including managing the implementation of community assessment processes, development of community health profiles, identifying and implementing strategies to address public health issues, and analyzing and developing reports and recommendations to guide planning, evaluation and policy development to improve health in Harris County. In this role, she works alongside concerned residents, community leaders and a variety of other stakeholders to collectively improve the health of Harris County communities.
