Biographical Sketch: Veronica Pedregon is an Epidemiologist who works in the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Section of the Texas Department of State Health Services. Prior to this, she studied and supported research on social disparities in health at the University of California San Francisco, which included working for the "Commission to Build a Healthier America". She works to apply her research interests in the social causes of health to the everyday practice of public health.
