Biographical Sketch: Sam Horwich-Scholefield is a first year CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow placed with the HAI Program in the Center for Healthcare Quality at the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). His work currently focuses on CRE surveillance, CDI data validation, and outbreak investigations in California healthcare facilities.
