Biographical Sketch:
Jillian Papa is a Program Evaluator in the Office of Research and Development within the Bureau of Nutrition and Physical Activity at Arizona Department of Health Services. Jillian received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of South Florida. She received her Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. In Summer 2013, Jillian finished a Graduate Certificate in Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology with University of Arizona. Jillian has completed research assistantships, internships, and fellowships with the following programs: Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools in Ecuador, Mount Sinai School of Medicine both in NYC and in Brazil, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Waterborne Disease Prevention Branch, and Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research’s Maternal and Child Health group. Prior to her current position, Jillian was the HIV Incidence Surveillance Epidemiologist and Coordinator with Arizona Department of Health Services.
