Dr. Park is the Hawaii State Epidemiologist and Chief of the Disease Outbreak Control Division, Hawaii Department of Health. She directs all activities related to emerging infections, disease surveillance and investigations, immunizations, and public health preparedness (e.g., Hawaii’s response to the 2009 H1N1 pandemic). In addition, she has served and continues to serve on various national boards, committees, and workgroups on subject matter related to these areas, and she occasionally attends for the pediatric infectious diseases service at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, HI. Dr. Park is the chair of the CSTE Surveillance Policy Subcommittee.
