Connections Reception - LOCATION CHANGE The connections reception is open to all attendees, with special invitation to new members, first-time attendees, attendees still feeling new to CSTE, current and former fellows and mentors, and all local epidemiologists registered for the conference. During the reception, CSTE will recognize the work of our CDC/CSTE Fellowship programs. RSVP is required at registration to attend. Attendees will enjoy a cash bar, but not food will be served during the event.

Group 5K Walk/Run CSTE will host our fourth annual 5K group walk/run for attendees. The start and finish line for the 5K will be located at the Sheraton Hotel. This is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. There is no fee for the event, but we do ask for confirmation of attendance at registration for further direct communications and details. PLEASE MEET IN THE SECOND FLOOR LOBBY OF SHERATON HOTEL BY 6:30 AM.

President's Banquet The CSTE President's Banquet is a casual dinner on Tuesday evening featuring a lecture in memory of Dr. Jonathan Mann and an awards ceremony to honor members. This is a fee event and admission is not included with conference registration. Dinner is served during the banquet with entrée selections limited to those chosen by CSTE; no substitutions are available. We encourage attendees to purchase tickets early as the event always SELLS OUT. Business attire please.

The web product can be deployed as an internet or intranet application and will provide analytical and visualization capability for large public health datasets within an organization. The product will also provide a collection of relevant public health related tools that can be used by Epidemiologists or other public health professionals to analyze data.

The ability to load Epi Info™ forms onto a mobile device allows users to collect data in places lacking information technology infrastructure and for activities that could benefit from mobility, GPS tacking, or photographic capabilities. Users can also Quickly stand up a Windows Azure cloud service and consume it using Epi Info™ Companion for Android to allow a team of epidemiologists to more efficiently collect data together.

CSTE Business Meeting The conference concludes with the Business Meeting for the CSTE membership to discuss the business of CSTE and review position statements. All current members are welcome to attend the meeting. Official CSTE decisions are made by vote with only one vote per state or territory cast by the State Epidemiologist or an official Active member representative from the state or territory designated by the State Epidemiologist.
