Key Objectives:
Describe and discuss current and future substance abuse epidemiology activities at CSTE
Brief Summary:
Substance abuse epidemiology activity has exploded at CSTE in recent years. Most recently, support from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has provided the necesary infrastructure for building substance abuse and mental health epidemiology infrastructure in states and developing indicators to assist with surveillance. These and other project activities of all the related substance abuse epidedemiolgy subcommittees will be presented.
