  2. Novel cost-effective approaches to this training
  3. Resources that would make the training easier
  4. Problems with CIFOR Guidelines and Toolkit format or instructions
Roundtable proceedings will be summarized in a written document to be included in future versions of the CIFOR Toolkit.

Brief Summary:
The CIFOR Guidelines for Foodborne Disease Outbreak Response and the CIFOR Toolkit were developed to improve public health foodborne disease outbreak detection and response. In early 2016, CSTE awarded funding to selected state, territorial, and local health jurisdictions for training to support implementation of the Guidelines and Toolkit. Funds were to be used to bring foodborne disease outbreak investigation teams together to initiate the CIFOR Toolkit process and begin to determine which recommendations in the CIFOR Guidelines would help that jurisdiction improve foodborne disease outbreak detection and response. This Roundtable will be used to solicit feedback on the CIFOR Guidelines and Toolkit implementation trainings. Roundtable participants will be asked to share their experiences in organizing and carrying out the trainings including the target audience, format, helpful resources, and tangible results (e.g., changes in operating procedures, improved relationships with partners). The Roundtable will also be used to collect feedback on the CIFOR Guidelines and Toolkit.
