Brief Summary:  Public health agencies need to take advantage of the huge and growing amount of health related data from diverse sources including EHRs, clinical labs, pharma, genomics, the web, and many more. Today, organization are looking at data in silos, analyzing one or a few data sets at a time. Often, epidemiologist need to cobble together information from different sources by hand. This session will explore the important benefits of looking at multiple data sets as a whole to see the correlations and gain new insights. Following the panel there will be a live demonstration of new technology that can be used to construct a unified view that spans diverse data sets.
