CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) Series, often considered to be the “voice of CDC”, is the agency’s primary vehicle for scientific publication of timely, reliable, objective, and useful public health information and recommendations. MMWR encourages submissions of reports from state and local health departments. This session will provide information on the benefits of publishing a report in MMWR, tips for writing for the MMWR report, and experiences of publishing MMWR reports from two recent state health department authors.
