Brief Summary:
The purpose of this round table is to highlight urgency of developing epidemiology capacity; understand if health departments are using tools, like CSTE Orientation Manual; discuss National Mentorship Program and ideas to address need. Round table will be led by Mentoring Program Chair, Khosrow Heidari, South Carolina, and co-chaired by Natasha McCoy, NACDD. Discussion is open to anyone. Special guests will include former Mentoring Program mentees and mentors. Attendees will discuss ideas, share opportunities, identify strategies for sustainability and provide recommendations.
