LEARNING OBJECTIVES

· Understand the benefits of using spatial analysis methods and map visualization tools in conjunction with socio-demographic and widely-used public health data

· Determine the reliability of estimates and assess whether or not variables are suitable for mapping

· Choose appropriate mapping techniques to communicate uncertainty associated with mapped data

· Identify ways to use GIS techniques for communicating actionable data
