Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Prevention Workshop

This pre-conference workshop is geared toward HAI Coordinators, HAI Program Managers, and health department staff that are currently engaged or interested in HAI prevention and response activities.  The workshop will be interactive and health departments will share their experiences through presentations and facilitated dialogue.  The sessions will include brief presentations and discussions on topics to address detection, response and prevention of infections.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a better understanding of how HAI prevention efforts can be enhanced, while working to eliminate HAIs across the continuum of care.
