Book signing with author Alexandra Levitt, Deadly Outbreaks Deadly Outbreaks recounts the scientific adventures of a special group of intrepid individuals who investigate these outbreaks around the world and figure out how to stop them. Part homicide detective, part physician, these medical investigators must view the problem from every angle, exhausting every possible source of contamination. Any data gathered in the field must be stripped of human sorrows and carefully analyzed into hard statistics. Join Dr. Levitt and a few of the featured CSTE members to have your copy of Deadly Outbreaks autographed. Books will be available for purchase through registration or onsite during the signing.

6:00 PM-7:00 PM

Connections Reception The connections reception is open to all attendees, with special invitation to new members, first-time attendees, attendees still feeling new to CSTE, current and former fellows and mentors, and all local epidemiologists registered for the conference. During the reception, CSTE will recognize the work of our CDC/CSTE Fellowship and Applied Public Health Informatics Fellowship programs. RSVP is required at registration to attend. Attendees will enjoy a cash bar, but not food will be served during the event.
